Solubility characteristics：Zirconocene Dichloride is soluble in tetrahydrofuran and chloroform, slightly soluble in aromatic hydrocarbon solvents and ether, insoluble in n-hexane, and will slowly hydrolyze in humid environment. It is also sensitive to light.

1.Core catalytic application: Zirconocene Dichloride is the core component of the Kaminsky type metallocene catalyst. After being activated by methylaluminoxane, it can efficiently catalyze the homogeneous polymerization of ethylene and propylene, thereby producing high-performance polyolefin materials.It is widely used in high-end packaging films and automotive engineering plastics fields.

2.Extended application: It can be used as a rubber vulcanization accelerator, an anti-water polysiloxane curing agent, and is also a key raw material for synthesizing Schwartz reagent and various zirconium metal organic derivatives. It can also catalyze various organic synthesis reactions such as Mannich reaction and esterification reaction.
