Use: The product is a relatively selective alpha2-epinephrine-subjector astration agent, clinically suitable for patients who start intitulation and use a ventilator during intensive care treatment, or for anti-fouling agents in marine anti-fouling paint, especially good performance for barnacles.

The mechanism of anti-fouling effect: The octopamine receptors in fouling organisms such as barnacles have an extremely strong affinity for medetomidine. When the drug activates these receptors, it interferes with the autonomous movement ability of the larvae, preventing them from autonomously attaching to the coating surface and thus fundamentally reducing the occurrence of biological fouling.
