Application:
Broad spectrum, pharmaceutical intermediate, mildewcide for transparent plastic, cosmetic additive, photosensitive material additive, pesticide intermediate and deodorant.; A good substitute for Zinc Pyrithione 48% to be used in shampoo .
The difference from ZPT:
Bispyrithione is an upgraded product following ZPT. Bispyrithione has a lower sensitivity to metal ions, better compounding effect, and can maximize the bactericidal efficacy. After dissolving in water, the residual particles have an extremely small diameter, and can come into closer contact with the scalp microbiota.
The advantages of BPT's application in the coating system:
When added to water-based coatings, it can inhibit the growth of bacteria in the tank, and prevent mold from growing on the surface of the coating after it has dried. Compared with traditional isothiazolinone type fungicides, it has a longer antibacterial effect and will not rapidly hydrolyze and lose its efficacy.
