Metallocene catalysts, with their single active site characteristics, can precisely control polymer molecular weight distribution (MWD≈2) and stereoregularity. They are mainly used to produce high-performance polyolefins and specialty materials, with key application areas as follows: Core Application Areas High-end film packaging: Produces metallocene polyethylene (mPE) used for food steam bags, heavy-duty packaging bags, and agricultural films. The products have high transparency, low haze, excellent heat-seal strength, and puncture resistance, allowing for 20%-25% film thinning and significantly reducing raw material and transport costs. Polyolefin elastomers (POE): Key raw materials for photovoltaic films, car bumper modification, and wire and cable insulation. Bridged metallocene catalysts can precisely control α-olefin insertion rates, supporting the large-scale industrial production of highly elastic, ageing-resistant POE. Specialty engineering plastics: Synthesises cyclic olefin copolymers (COC/COP), widely used in medical syringes, optical lenses, and semiconductor packaging. They offer high transparency, low birefringence, and biocompatibility, replacing traditional glass or ordinary plastics. High-end lubricating oil base oils: Catalytically synthesises metallocene poly-α-olefins (mPAO) for aerospace, military, and premium automotive lubricants. Compared with traditional PAO, mPAO has narrower molecular weight distribution, higher viscosity index, and excellent low-temperature flow. Medical and automotive components: Produces high-purity, non-exudating polypropylene and polyethylene materials for artificial blood vessels, prosthetic implants, and automotive fuel lines, meeting strict hygiene and safety standards.






Storage and Security: It is sensitive to air, light and moisture, and should be stored under inert gas (nitrogen/argon) protection in a sealed environment at a low temperature of 2-8℃. During operation, protective equipment must be worn to avoid direct contact with skin and eyes. The safety operation specification is marked as 24/25, meaning avoid contact with skin and eyes.
Usage and Performance: It is a high-end metallocene catalyst, mainly used for the production of high-quality and high-density polyethylene, and can completely replace imported similar products. The butyl and methyl substituents on the cyclopentadiene ring optimize its solubility, adjust the spatial steric hindrance of the metal center, and the adaptability of the catalytic process and the controllability of the product structure are superior to the basic dichloridozirconium.
*The normal product is a crystalline solid. If there is obvious agglomeration, the color changes from light yellow to dark brown, or if it rapidly releases smoke and undergoes deliquescence when exposed to air, it indicates that hydrolysis and oxidation have occurred, and the active components have been damaged, making it impossible to continue being used in catalytic reactions.
